Conditions of Purchase
These conditions explain what you agree to when purchasing or starting a Meet Amara plan.
About Meet Amara
Meet Amara is a website AI assistant service provided by The Helpful Co. Amara helps businesses answer common website enquiries, capture customer details, and pass enquiries to the business owner or team.
Amara does not replace professional advice, emergency services, medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, safeguarding support, or urgent business judgement.
Plans and pricing
The current launch offer is the Founding Customer Offer / Early Access Launch Plan:
- £29 per month for 12 months
- 14-day free trial
- First payment due one calendar month after the 14-day free trial ends
- Free assisted installation/setup during the launch offer
- Cancel anytime
- One free trial per business
Other plans include:
- Basic plan: £29 per month
- Standard plan: £49 per month
- Premium plan: from £79 per month
- Multi-location or custom setups may require custom pricing
The £29/month founding customer price is protected for the first 12 months. After the 12-month launch period, you can move to the closest available plan or choose another suitable plan.
Prices may change in the future, but existing customer offer terms should be honoured for the agreed offer period unless the customer changes plan or agrees otherwise.
You can cancel anytime. There is no subscription payment during the trial, and no monthly payment is due if you cancel before the trial ends. If you continue after the trial, billing follows your selected plan.
Free trial
The 14-day free trial allows the customer to try Amara before the paid plan begins.
No subscription payment is taken during the 14-day free trial. If the customer cancels before the trial ends, no monthly subscription payment is due.
During the trial:
- The customer can cancel anytime
- Amara may be installed, configured, or tested
- One free trial is available per business unless agreed otherwise
Billing and payment
If the customer continues after the free trial, the first payment is due one calendar month after the 14-day free trial ends. Payments then continue monthly according to the selected plan unless another arrangement is agreed in writing.
The customer is responsible for providing accurate billing details and keeping payment information up to date.
If payment fails, Meet Amara may pause or suspend the service after reasonable notice.
Cancellation
Customers may cancel anytime unless they have agreed a separate custom contract.
Cancellation requests should be sent through the Contact page or to hello@meet-amara.co.uk.
You can cancel anytime. If you cancel before the free trial ends, no monthly subscription payment is due. If you continue after the trial, billing follows your selected plan.
If a customer cancels after billing has started, access may continue until the end of the paid billing period unless otherwise agreed.

Urgent and regulated enquiries
Amara must not be used as the only point of contact for emergencies or urgent situations.
For sectors such as healthcare, care, legal, financial, veterinary, electrical, gas, building, childcare, or other regulated services, Amara should only provide general information and capture enquiries. Final advice, decisions, and service delivery remain the responsibility of qualified humans.
Installation and website access
Basic includes clear installation instructions so you or your website provider can add Amara to your website.
If you would like us to help install Amara for you, a one-off setup fee may apply on the Basic plan.
Free assisted installation is included with Standard, Premium and the Founding Customer Offer during early rollout.
If Meet Amara helps install the website widget, the customer may need to provide website access, invite a developer, or ask their website provider to add the code.
The customer remains responsible for their own website, domain, hosting, passwords, and third-party platforms.
Data and privacy
Meet Amara may process customer and enquiry data to provide the service.
Please read the Privacy Policy, Data Processing, and Cookies Policy pages for more information.
Changes to service or terms
Meet Amara may update features, training, wording, plans, or these conditions as the service develops.
Where a material change affects a paying customer, Meet Amara should provide reasonable notice.
