Add Amara to your website

Choose the easiest way to get Amara live on your website. No technical skills needed — send us your website details and we'll guide you through the rest.

Basic includes clear installation instructions so you or your website provider can add Amara to your website.

If you would like us to help install Amara for you, a one-off setup fee may apply on the Basic plan. Free assisted installation is included with Standard, Premium and the Founding Customer Offer during early rollout.

Option A

I can do it myself

Copy this small website code and paste it into your website's Custom Code or Footer Code area. Once saved and published, Amara will appear on your website.

The example business ID is only for testing. Each real business gets its own Amara business ID during setup.

Paste this into your website's Custom Code, Footer Code, Code Injection, or Body End area. The code only needs adding once.

How the code works

When this code is added to your website, it loads Amara from Meet Amara and tells her which business she is working for. Your website still stays your website. Amara simply appears as a chat button and sends enquiries back to your Amara lead inbox.

During early access, The Helpful Co. will help selected businesses set up Amara, test enquiry capture, and review how leads are recorded.

WordPress
  1. Log in to WordPress.
  2. Go to Plugins -> Add New.
  3. Install WPCode or Insert Headers and Footers.
  4. Open the plugin's Header/Footer settings.
  5. Paste the Amara code into the Footer box.
  6. Save.
Wix
  1. Open your Wix dashboard.
  2. Go to Settings -> Custom Code.
  3. Add new custom code.
  4. Paste the Amara code.
  5. Choose All Pages.
  6. Choose Body - end.
  7. Apply and publish.
Squarespace
  1. Open Settings.
  2. Go to Advanced -> Code Injection.
  3. Paste the Amara code into the Footer box.
  4. Save.
Shopify
  1. Open Online Store -> Themes.
  2. Choose Edit Code.
  3. Open theme.liquid.
  4. Paste the Amara code near the bottom of the page template, above the final body closing line.
  5. Save.
GoDaddy / IONOS / Other
  1. Log in to your website builder.
  2. Look for Settings, Custom Code, Embed Code, Footer Code, Tracking Code, or HTML Code.
  3. Paste the Amara code there.
  4. Save and publish.
